Well, lets say I'm not the person I use to be. I'm tired all the time, moody, I am angered alot easier than I use to be, I lack enthusiasm for life now. I'm just really frustrated because this disease feels like its changed my personality. I use to be optomistic and happy go lucky and could put a smile on anbodys face. Now, I'm still dealing with the pain in my head, and I'm really worried about the medication that I am on for Adisons, I firmly beleive that the medication is linked with the tumour on my pituatary gland. My menstrual cycle is changing horribly and I'm just not aroused much anymore. And on top of all of this, I'm just not sure if I'm having gallstone attacks or pancreatitis. The medication (hydrocortisone) which I am taking makes it more difficult for doctors to diagnose any other condition which might affect me, because it simply seems to hide it. I'm trying researching my own health to learn more and really only think about my three children (all teenagers) now and really getting my will and all my finances all in order just in case. My endocronologist was wrong and I did have a tumour and I still have pain in my head. The proper term was micro adenoma at .6cm. If anyone out there has an experience like mine and would like to share I would really appreciate hearing from you. I'll be hanging in here.

Wow - you have been through so much! How do you feel on a day to day basis? What do you do about the tumor on the pituitary?

What about nutrition interests you?
Everything, everything, all I do is read and look on the internet for information about food, health, and nutrition and exercise. With all the media hype about the bad foods we are eating and we are exposed to its really nice to know about the good stuff, and that we can learn and enrich our own lives with the good things that we choose to put into our bodies with all of the information that we have collected.
About Me:
I'm 42, have 3 kids, 13 16,17. I pretty much had a healthy childhood, as healthy as it gets and really didn't start to have any serious problems till I became pregnant with my first child. It turned out what I thought was food poisoning was major food allergies. This began with my pregnancies in my mid to late 20's. Later in my early 30's I began having mobility problems, my neck and back had seized up and my 4 and 5 year olds were dressing me. I went to see a chiropractor and it took about 3-4 years to feel normal again, but I did and can never stop thanking the chiropractor and the digestive enzymes he suggested I use. I turned 40 and started working 2 part time jobs along with my full time job, to make ends meet. In Feb, 2007 I became ill with a fever that lasted for 10 months, extensive testing and weekly blood tests could find nothing. I went to see a lady in the naturapath area and she tested me and tests revealed I had bad bacteria and some other bad stuff inside of me and I started her program of natural medicine. I began to feel better in 1 month, but I still wasn't cured. In Jan 2008 I was sent for special testing by an endocronologist and by the end of Feb it was discovered I had ADISSONS disease. My adrenal glands stopped working and I could have died if this would have lasted any longer. I'm now on coriscosteroids and got better. I developed alot of pain in my head, not a headache or migraine, just pain that lasted all day and night. I woke up with it and went to bed with it. I told the endocronologist who then sent me to get my pituitary gland scanned. It was discovered that I have a tumour on my pituitary gland. Could it be the steroids I am on, yes, the doctor doesnt think so, but he also didnt think I had anything wrong with my head,so...... I now read alot and eat alot of antioxidant rich foods and thoroughly was all my fruits and vegetables and the list goes on. I am trying to stay as healthy as I can and am always looking for alternative medicine because I know it does work. I will never stop reading and learning about health.
